Social Compliance Policy

Our Social Compliance Policy includes the standards we have developed through teamwork based on our fundamental principles and values, together with all our business partners. Our goal is to make the Social Compliance Policy an integral part of the company culture. Therefore, social compliance standards have been established and implemented.

In addition to creating products and services with these social compliance standards, this policy commits to providing all rights derived from the standards within the framework of laws, adhering to occupational health and safety rules, being environmentally conscious and fostering a workplace where open and honest communication, respect and value among employees are ensured.

The Social Compliance Policy is communicated to all our employees through training, information is provided to our suppliers and our suppliers are evaluated based on these criteria.

 

Prevention of Forced and Compulsory Labor

Employees are required to perform the tasks for which they are remunerated under an employment contract entered into voluntarily with the employer. It is pledged that no employee will be compelled to work overtime or perform tasks outside the scope of their employment contract without their consent.

Prevention of Child Labor

Our company is committed to not employing child labor and will not hire anyone under the age of 16.

Prevention of Discrimination

Employment within the company will be based strictly on the ability to perform the job, without any discrimination based on language, religion, race, sect, color, ethnic origin, marital status, gender, political opinion, philosophical belief, age, pregnancy or disability. Special working conditions provided by law for pregnant women, young workers, and disabled individuals will be respected and equal opportunities will be offered to all employees.

Decent Working Hours

We pledge to comply with current laws and regulations when determining working hours, to ensure voluntary overtime, to adhere to the weekly and annual overtime limits specified by law and customer standards and to pay for overtime at the legally mandated premium rates.

Fair Wages and Payments

We commit to making payments for normal and overtime work as determined by law and employment contracts, providing the social benefits specified in collective labor agreements, and meeting the minimum living standards of our region.

Occupational Health and Safety

Our company pledges to fully comply with legal occupational health and safety requirements and customer social compliance standards and projects. We commit to effectively applying technical developments and innovations and to taking necessary precautions by examining factors and conditions that affect the health and safety of all employees, visitors, customers and anyone else impacted by our activities.

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining Rights

Employees have the right to collectively organize, join unions, or become members of legal associations in accordance with legal requirements. No employee shall be terminated or discriminated against for being a member of a union, association, or collective group. As employers, it is our primary duty to protect employees' legal rights and ensure a respectful working environment.

Grievances, Complaints, and Suggestions

We pledge to establish the necessary infrastructure for employees to submit grievances, complaints, and suggestions, to evaluate them promptly and effectively, to provide feedback and to ensure that employees can report issues without fear of retaliation.

Commitment to Community and Stakeholders

Our company commits to engaging with stakeholders in good faith, listening to their views and incorporating their feedback. We will appoint employee representatives in accordance with legal regulations and provide an environment where employees can discuss their issues with these representatives and submit written suggestions via suggestion boxes. When appropriate, we will engage in dialogue with stakeholders on workplace rights related to the business.

Compliance with Laws and Other Obligations

We pledge to continuously monitor and comply with applicable laws and regulations, our customers' partnership rules and the standards of the Management Systems we voluntarily implement.

Prevention of Discipline/Mistreatment and Harassment

We commit to respecting the dignity and honor of every employee, not imposing corporate punishment, and not tolerating verbal, physical, sexual, or psychological harassment, mobbing, threats or coercion.

Freedom of Representation

We pledge to respect the representation rights of our employees as required by legal conditions and standards and to support their ability to express themselves.

Prevention of Bribery and Corruption

We commit to not accepting or soliciting any gifts or payments from employees or suppliers that could provide material gain. Any behavior that provides unfair personal advantage to employees is not tolerated. It is strictly prohibited to accept or give any material that could be considered a bribe.

Environmental Protection

We pledge to comply with current environmental legislation and customer standards, to prevent environmental pollution based on environmental dimensions and impact assessments, to reduce pollution at the source through effective waste management, to conserve natural resources through effective energy management and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

Relations with Suppliers

We commit to obtaining commitments from our suppliers to comply with social compliance issues, to evaluate them for social compliance, to monitor the results of these evaluations with action plans and to gradually raise their level of social compliance.

Management System

We pledge to conduct the activities of the Social Compliance and Social Performance team under a management framework that complies with current laws and regulations, customer social compliance standards, workplace conduct codes and BSCI principles. We commit to continuous improvement activities related to these matters, periodic reviews and providing the necessary budget for all these activities.
